ブドウの樹は、枝の先端の芽が出やすい性質があり、基部の芽が出ない場合がよくあります。

枝の先端でない所の芽を出したい場合、「芽傷」を入れると発芽しやすくなります。

ここ数日大変暖かく、枝の切り口から樹液が染み出しています(ブリージング)。

[Slitting the Edge of the Bud]

The grapevines has a characteristic that forms buds on the edge of the branches. So frequently, buds do not sprout at the base of the grapevine.

If you want the bud to sprout somewhere else than the edge of the branch, just put a small cut near the bud. This way, it makes it easier to pullulate.

Since it has been warm for the past few days, the branch is exuding some saps.
